Our Story

In 2007, our founder Caroline's life changed in an instant. A hormone imbalance led to a stroke, an experience that was both frightening and life-altering. What followed was just as difficult as she realised she was on her own when it came to understanding and managing her menstrual health. There was no clear guidance, no support system, and little information available. Like so many others, she was left to navigate her cycle in silence.

But out of that silence came a spark.

Caroline began a journey of self-education, diving into research, connecting with others, and slowly building a deep knowledge of the menstrual cycle, hormone health, and the emotional and physical realities that come with it. This wasn't just about healing her own body. She wanted to be able to support her daughter with all the information about periods and menstrual health not available to her when she was growing up.

All Yours is Born

December 2020

Years later, in December 2020, that quiet spark became something much bigger. Caroline and her daughter Cara wanted to do something simple but meaningful. Together, they packed up a few boxes of period products to donate to their local foodbank. They called them All Yours period boxes. What started as an act of kindness quickly grew into something far greater.

January 2022

By January 2022, thanks to an approach by a period pants manufacturer and funding from the Welsh Period Dignity Grant, All Yours was delivering period product workshops to young people across Wales. These sessions didn't just hand out products—they created honest, inclusive conversations about disposable and reusable options, empowering young people to make informed choices about their own menstrual health.

Today

From those first few workshops, the All Yours period education programme began to take shape. Today, it's a dynamic and growing part of what we do.

All Yours community support

Our education work now includes:

  • Online workshops delivered across the UK, reaching young people wherever they are.
  • In-person education programmes creating safe and supportive spaces for learning.
  • Corporate and community workshops, helping organisations understand the importance of menstrual health and dignity in every environment.
  • Dads Do Pads, a ground-breaking initiative designed just for men, helping them understand periods so they can support the people they love.
  • Sessions dedicated to the menstrual cycle and the menopause, alongside sessions on how to run inclusive and compassionate period dignity schemes that welcome everyone into the conversation.

Our Mission

At All Yours, we believe that period education is not just about biology, it's about dignity, equity, and empowerment. We're building a future where no one feels alone in their menstrual health journey, where every question is valid, and where knowledge is shared freely and compassionately.

Whether it's in a school, a boardroom, a community centre, or a kitchen table, our mission is the same: to make sure everyone understands periods, and to ensure that no one is left behind.
